During visit to Uzbekistan, Wu Ching-kuo held negotiations with the chairperson of Uzbekistan Boxing Federation Achilbay Ramatov.

The sides considered issues of developing boxing in Uzbekistan and Asian region as a whole.

AIBA President congratulated Uzbekistan Boxing Federation with impressing performance of Uzbek boxers at Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing – gold of Bektemir Melikuziev and silver of Sulayman Latipov.

He said that leadership of Uzbekistan pays great attention to development Olympic sports, including boxing. So, Uzbekistan achieves goods results in boxing.

Wu Ching-kuo wished success to the boxers of Uzbekistan at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon. Ramatov expressed gratitude for attention of AIBA President and support to Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.
