Ahmadjon Musaev noted that he participated at the draw ceremony of the World Cup. He said that there was no problem with the organization and the draw ceremony was held in high level. He said that Uzbekistan found out opponents and the team will now start preparation to the tournament.

Uzbek coach said that there are no weak teams in the World Cup, and Uzbekistan should prove that it received right to play in such tournament by chance.

Musaev underlined that the team has enough information about opponents. He said that Uruguay beat Brazil and Argentina during the South American qualification. This shows that Uruguay is a strong team. Croatia is one of the best team in Europe and New Zealand is champions of Oceania. But, it is possible to play against these teams.

Uzbek coach said that Uzbekistan U-20 will hold a training camp in Portugal on 20-26 April 2013. The team will play two friendly matches against Portugal U-20, which also booked its place at the World Cup. It will be useful to play against such team. He added that there are also plans in May and June.

Speaking about tournament, he said that Uzbekistan will start the tournament on 23 June against New Zealand. He said that Uzbekistan plans to arrive in Turkey on 16 June.
