Ahbor-Reyting updates credit rating of Trustbank at uzA level
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ahbor-Reyting, a rating agency of Uzbekistan, updated credit rating of Trustbank open joint stock exchange bank at the level of uzA in line with the national scale. The outlook is stable.

The uzA rating characterizes high potential of timely and full execution of financial liabilities before creditors, depositors and investors. But, changes in commercial, financial and economic conditions can impact to ability of the bank to execute its financial liabilities compared to those banks with higher rating.

Assigned rating of Trustbank reflects high business activity of the bank in the market, dynamic development of commercial network, adequate capitalization and balanced liquid position. The rating also takes into account sustainable and strengthening position of Trustbank among compared banks, especially on such figures as aggregate assets, deposit portfolio, investment portfolio and capital base. Firm strategy, directed at expanding business scale and strengthening position of the bank in the market, as well as support of shareholders give additional stability to the business.

Business scale of Trustbank expended with high tempo. In 2010, the assets of the grew by 50.83% to 384.5 billion soums (254.99 billion soums in 2009), while loan portfolio rose by 77.64% to 79.8 billion soums (45 billion soums in 2009).

It is necessary to note that achievements of Trustbank on growth of balanced figures continued in 2011. As of 30 June 2011, the assets of the bank grew by 10.27% year-on-year to 423.9 billion soums.

Capital adequacy of Trustbank is rated as acceptable. In 2010, own capital of the bank rose by 80.61%, while equity capital rose twice year-on-year. At the same time, the coefficient of capital and the first level adequacy, calculated in line with the national accounting standards, made up 19.6% and 17.2% (17.3% and 15% in 2009) respectively.

Trustbank is one of the leading private banks of Uzbekistan and as of 30 June 2011 its market share on assets made up 1.76%, investments – 1.7%, own capital – 1.47% and deposits – 2.63%.
