Agro Invest Sug’urta raises charter capital to 3.5bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Agro Invest Sug’urta, insurance company of Uzbekistan, increased its charter capital to 3.5 billion soums.

As earlier reported, the company issued 2.65 million ordinary shares with par value of 1,000 soums each. Total sum of emission made up 2.65 billion soums.

The shares were placed on closed subscription. The insurer said its shareholder Agromashleasing acquired 2.15 million shares of 81.13% of total emission, while other shareholder Microcreditbank bought 500,000 shares or 18.87% of total issue.

In the result, Microcreditbank’s share in insurer decreased from 51.2% to 26.71%, while Agromashleasing raised its stake from 48.8% to 73.29%.

Agro Invest Sug’urta open joint stock company was founded on 7 October 2008. The company works in voluntary insurance market on 8 classes.
