Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AGMK) has commenced the production of gold, silver, and copper in granule form.
According to the company, granulated gold is used in the jewelry industry, medicine, radio electronics, microelectronics, chemical industry, and the production of measuring instruments.
In jewelry production, losses increase during the remelting of ingots and other mechanical processes, leading to financial losses for jewelers. Gold and silver granules will help reduce the cost of jewelry and improve its quality. Moreover, raw materials in granule form are a key requirement of leading manufacturers in the modern jewelry industry.
Additionally, AGMK specialists have established the production of granulated copper.
After analyzing the market, the complex plans to start producing granules from other non-ferrous metals.
