Aggregate capital of Microcreditbank reaches 161.5bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aggregate capital of Microcreditbank open joint stock commercial bank comprised 161.5 billion soums in the result of 2009, the press service of the bank.

The loan portfolio of the bank made up 246.9 billion soums as of 1 January 2010. The main its share was formed due to long-term loans. The announced charter capital was fully formed at the size of 150 billion soums.

Assets of Microcreditbank rose by 91.9 billion soums and reached 355.5 billion soums, the bank’s press service said.

The banks rendered micro financing services to small businesses for 97.8 billion soums, of which 68.8 billion soums were micro loans and 29 billion soums are micro leasing services. Businesswomen received loans for 18.4 billion soums in 2009.

Microcreditbank said it conducted measures on further development of retail business. The bank attracted over 34.9 billion soums in deposits from population.

Number of issued banking cards made up 176,000 at the end of 2009. Total volume of transactions with banking cards comprised 124.5 billion soums. The bank said it installed 3,722 POS-terminals at trade and service points and 83 POS-terminals at branches of the bank. The bank also introduced 94,388 salary projects with use of banking cards.

According to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On additional measures on material and moral support of young families”, Microcreditbank allocated 16.3 billion soums of soft loans to support youth, including 9.8 billion soums were micro financing services and 7.2 billion soums were consumer credits.

Microcreditbank issued micro loans and micro leasing worth 9.3 billion soums to service sector in 2009, the bank noted.
