The head of state emphasized the need to maximize the opportunities available in the field of external labor migration.

In this regard, the Agency for External Labor Migration will be subordinated to the Government, and Bekhzod Museyev has been appointed as its head.

The Agency has been tasked with intensifying efforts to help Uzbek citizens access high-income labor markets abroad.

Khokims (governors) and diplomatic missions abroad will bear equal responsibility for the welfare of compatriots working overseas.
