Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Afghanistan plans to hold a trade exhibition in Uzbekistan in June, the TOLOnews portal reported with reference to the Afghan Minister of Industry and Trade Noruddin Azizi.

Noruddin Azizi clarified that the exact date of the exhibition is still unknown. He added that Afghanistan’s efforts are aimed at transporting Afghan products via land routes.

The minister noted that about 250 entrepreneurs from Afghanistan will take part in the exhibition.

Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in January-April 2024 amounted to US$308.6 million. Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to US$301.4 million, the rest comes from imports.
