Adworld Group Fined for Illegal Overseas Employment Services
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Adworld Group, a company operating in Uzbekistan, has been fined for offering overseas employment services without the required license. The information was confirmed by the press service of the Agency for External Labor Migration.
The organization actively promoted job opportunities in countries such as Montenegro, Serbia, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Norway, Oman, and Japan, claiming to provide legal employment abroad. Most of the promotion was conducted via social media platforms, where the company portrayed itself as a reliable intermediary. However, an investigation revealed that Adworld Group lacked the proper license to carry out such activities.
Victims reported that after paying for the so-called “services,” the company failed to fulfill its obligations. The company's apparent legitimacy was bolstered by endorsements from popular bloggers who advertised its services, contributing to public trust.
Following an inspection, Adworld Group was fined 112.5 million soums. As the company failed to comply with the official order and did not pay the fine voluntarily, legal proceedings have been initiated to enforce collection through the courts.
