Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Uzbekistan with loan funds in the amount of US$45 million for implementation of the project “Development of Primary Health Care”.
The government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to implement the investment project “Development of primary health care” with the participation of the Asian Development Bank.”
The total project cost is more than US$57.75 million. The loan will be provided for 25 years with a 5-year grace period.
Uzbekistan will provide US$12.8 million for the project, including in the form of providing tax and customs benefits for US$11 million. The project will be implemented in 2018-2021.
Under the project, Uzbekistan plans to send US$39.79 million for the purchase of equipment.
