Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 September, Shakhrukh Daliev, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, held a meeting with Augusto da Silva Cunha, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Uzbekistan.

The First Deputy Minister highlighted that, under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, consistent reforms in higher education have been implemented in recent years, with a special focus on the development of engineering education. Both sides expressed readiness to collaborate in this area.

Ambassador Augusto da Silva Cunha emphasized that technical education is well-developed in Angola and proposed exploring scholarship opportunities for Angolan students in this field.

During the meeting, steps to strengthen cooperation in higher and vocational education, science, and innovation between the two countries were discussed.
