Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 June, the IV International PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan started in Tashkent, in which representatives of government agencies, the banking sector and trade retail take part.

The forum is focused on developing international cooperation in the field of banking and financial technology, exchanging experience on current issues of digital commerce and stimulating the implementation of new promising projects.

At the forum, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Jakhongir Abdiev made a presentation of information and communication technologies in the tax authorities.

It was noted that the introduction of advanced tax administration automation technologies (electronic document management, electronic digital signature, online cash register, risk analysis system, digital labeling, etc.) significantly increased the efficiency of tax authorities and the quality of service to taxpayers.

Updating the infrastructure of the Tax Committee Data Processing Center has made it possible to significantly improve the processing and exchange of information and increase system productivity.

Future plans include the introduction of information and cyber security protocols, cloud computing, Big Data technologies and artificial intelligence.
