About 900 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been used worldwide

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the World Health Organization, the number of people infected with coronavirus infection in the world is more than 146.05 million, of which more than 3.09 million people have died (as of 18:00 CET on 26 April 2021).

Over the past day, 830,806 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the world, 12,940 patients have died.

According to current data from Johns Hopkins University (as of 11:20 am Tashkent time on 26 April 2021), more than 147.19 million people have been infected in the world, of which more than 3.11 million have died.

The leader in the number of confirmed cases remains the United States, where, according to WHO, more than 31.656 million infected have been identified.

In second place is India (over 16.960 million),

on the third - Brazil (more than 14.237 million),

fourth - France (5.390 million),

the fifth - Russia (4.762 million).

According to WHO, over the past 24 hours, 63,216 new cases were registered in the United States, 349,691 in India, 69,105 in Brazil, 32,500 in France and 8,780 in Russia.

More than 899 million 936 thousand doses of coronavirus vaccines have been used in the world.
