About 50 types of certificates and information will no longer be required from the population and businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Resolution on24 May 2023 on measures to expand the coverage and improve the quality of digital services, as well as the digital transformation of spheres, industries and regions.

The document initiates the launch of 300 priority projects in the field of digitalization, including:

112 - on the digitalization of public administration (for example, the creation of a system for paying for utilities through a single personal account, systems of "electronic prescription", "electronic education", etc.);

51 - on digitalization of industries of real sectors of the economy;

137 - on digital transformation of regions.

Also, a list of 95 services and services implemented at the my.gov.uz is approved, including obtaining a birth certificate, placing children in schools, placing students in hostels, filing applications for alimony, filing tax returns, registering as a self-employed person, etc.

From 1 December 2023, the demand from the population and business entities for 47 types of information is canceled by submitting them in digital format to the interdepartmental integration platform of the Digital Government system.

From 1 October 2023, entrepreneurs are allowed to carry out retail trade operations in goods placed under the free warehouse customs regime as part of electronic commerce.

The list of activities permitted for implementation by residents of the Technological Park of software products and information technologies is expanding:

development and maintenance of multimedia, design and animation products using software;

venture financing of projects in the field of IT and the implementation of acceleration programs by organizations located on the territory of the IT park and its branches and registered at a legal address.

The IT Park Directorate and legal entities with a state share of 50% or more in the statutory fund are allowed to directly lease to IT Park residents with advanced digital technology start-up projects real estate located on the territory of the IT Park.

Starting from 1 August 2023, it is allowed to transfer funds allocated to young people for the purchase of computers in the form of a microloan, as well as subsidies provided at the expense of the Youth Notebook Fund and the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, on the basis of a social contract, if they wish, to transfer to a separately opened bank account. card (without the possibility of cashing out).

From 1 October 2023, a system is being introduced to cover 100% of the cost of obtaining international IT certificates by citizens with a level of knowledge of a foreign language at level B2 or more, in such areas as system management, database and management of the "cloud" platform, providing information security and other popular areas.

Also, training centers will receive a one-time subsidy for each graduate who is employed in companies that are residents of the IT park and export IT services in the amount of up to 75 sizes of basic estimated value, and for young people with disabilities - up to 105 sizes of basic estimated value.

The document provides that all settlements by the end of 2024 will be fully covered by broadband mobile communications and data networks.
