Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow, in cooperation with the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the ministries of internal affairs and health, facilitated the return of 15 minor children who were left without legal guardians (parents) in Russia, Dunyo news agency reported.
Working group members from Uzbekistan, who arrived in Russia over the course of two weeks, visited various regions of the country to gather all the necessary documents for the children who were left unattended.
All the children were taken to social rehabilitation centers for minors in Moscow, where they received social and medical assistance, and were then returned to Uzbekistan. The Embassy of Uzbekistan arranged the issuance of certificates for their free return to their homeland.
Adil Zakirov, head of the social department at the "Central" Family Education Assistance Center, noted that the children received all the necessary support: they were provided with meals, outdoor walks, and medical care.
