A Young Woman Jumps Out of a Moving Car During Argument with Driver In Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A video circulating on social media shows a young woman jumping out of a moving car in Tashkent.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD), the incident occurred on 7 July on Mustaqillik Street in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the capital.
Preliminary reports indicate that an argument broke out inside a Nexia vehicle between a 25-year-old driver and his 19-year-old female acquaintance. During the dispute, the woman opened the car door while the vehicle was in motion and jumped out onto the road.
The man stopped the vehicle and attempted to forcibly drag the woman back inside, but his actions were stopped by witnesses at the scene. Police officers patrolling the area promptly arrived and provided the injured woman with first aid before taking her to a medical facility.
Doctors diagnosed her with soft tissue contusions to the forehead and left cheek, as well as a subcutaneous hematoma. An official preliminary investigation into the incident is currently underway. A procedural decision will be made based on its findings and in accordance with the applicable law.
