Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent is increasingly becoming a center of culture. Thus, on 15-17 September, the performances of the St. Petersburg theater “Baltic House” were presented on the stage of the State Academic Russian Drama Theater of Uzbekistan.

The liveliness and frankness of the dialogues, which are skillfully conveyed by the actors of the St. Petersburg theater, makes the viewer forget that this is a performance and vividly empathize with the rapid development of events.

“What Men & Women Talk About” is a play about how much each person carries within himself and how differently it can manifest itself. About how many ups and downs relationships between close people can go through during one dialogue. What will happen in the end depends on many circumstances, including quite unexpectedly - from a collision with people whose existence you simply did not know just yesterday.

The performance, which was wonderfully received in Tashkent, is widely known throughout the world. The play received the prestigious Laurence Olivier theater award and was successfully performed on Broadway, on the stages of Paris, London, and Zurich.

The tour of the theater-festival “Baltic House” gave a good start to the new theater season in Tashkent, enriching it with the excellent level of its performances and giving the anticipation of new discoveries.
