Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Decree “On organizational measures to introduce a system for assessing the level of physical fitness of the population” was adopted.

According to the decree, from 1 August 2021, a system for assessing the level of physical fitness of the population will be introduced.

Sports tests based on the assessment system specifically and voluntarily determine the level of physical fitness of the age group of the population aged from seven to seventy years and older.

Sports tests will consist of 15 types of exercises.

Participants are assigned sports grades and titles, depending on the position and level in 11 age categories.

For those who successfully pass the sports test, a fitness level badge is established.

These individuals also enjoy the following benefits for 1 year, depending on their age:

- receive a 50% discount on the military service fee in the mobilization reserve and are sent to military service on a priority basis;

- the winners (1st place), who have fulfilled the special requirements, enter the "Temurbeks school" out of competition without testing;

- free of charge undergo a one-time in-depth medical examination in a state district (city) multidisciplinary medical institution;

- the winners (1st place) who have fulfilled special requirements are granted the right to free travel in public urban public transport of general use and reduced travel in interregional transport with a 50 percent discount (except for taxis, including fixed-route taxis);

-children of the winners will be placed without queuing at schools, kindergartens at their place of residence, and will also be sent to summer health camps;

- all employees of state bodies and organizations are provided with free vouchers to resorts and sanatoriums at the expense of the employer;

- when applying for a job or study at the republican level, preference is given to exams that require physical training (except for sports universities), and credit, practical classes go to the maximum score on the exam, or the winners are completely exempt from practical classes.

Until 1 August 2021, a sports testing site and a unified electronic database will be launched.
