A strangled 15-year-old girl found in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 15-year-old strangled girl was found in Yunusabad district of Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city police.

“On 7 February at 5:40 pm, the police hotline received a call that the body of 15-year-old N.E. was found in her apartment in Yunusabad district with traces of suffocation, ”the police notes.

On this fact, a criminal case under article 97 part 1 ("Intentional killing") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan was initiated.

As a result of investigative and operational measures on suspicion of committing this crime, a 20-year-old E.A. was detained. The reasons behind the crime are established.
