Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A military aircraft of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan departed for Kazakhstan to return to their homeland the bodies of citizens killed in a car accident.
On 3 April at 17:00, on the 678th kilometer of the Samara - Shymkent highway, in Algin district of Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, an accident occurred in which a Toyota-Alphard car and a Volvo truck collided. As a result of the accident, eight citizens of Uzbekistan were killed.
At the direction of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a Government Commission was formed to organize the transportation of the bodies of the dead to Uzbekistan and subsequent funeral procedures. For these purposes, a special board of the Ministry of Defense is used.
The plane took off for Kazakhstan on 4 April at 10:25, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
