Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and experts from the international audit and consulting corporation KPMG from a number of foreign countries, held a seminar on the principles, products and practices of Islamic finance.
During the event, the emergence of Islamic finance, the Shariah-based regulatory framework, Islamic banking and risk management, as well as the future role of the sector in the global economy were discussed in detail.
In addition, the seminar presented examples of practical experience within the framework of this topic, and also discussed the most pressing issues of Islamic finance.
