Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, together with Mastercard, organized a seminar on cybersecurity and combating fraud in the field of payment cards.

The event took place within the framework of the Partnership Agreement between the Central Bank and Mastercard signed in July 2022. Seminars like this represent an important initiative in the field of cybersecurity and are a key area of cooperation.

The seminar was attended by specialists from commercial banks and payment organizations.

Mastercard experts presented information on methods and schemes of fraud in the field of payment cards, various types of fraud associated with social engineering, acquiring risks and methods for reducing them.

The basic requirements and approaches to interaction with trade and service organizations and service providers were also explained.

Seminar participants received detailed answers to their questions from specialists, and at the end of the event they were issued corresponding certificates from Mastercard.
