Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Red Wings Airlines flight RWZ1512, en route from Tashkent to Kazan, was unable to land at its destination due to a threat of a drone attack, according to data from Flightradar.

As of 10:25 Tashkent time, the aircraft was heading toward Samara.

Several explosions were heard in Kazan. Reports indicate that drones attempted to attack one of the facilities.

Later, the authorities of Tatarstan stated that the drone attack was successfully repelled. No casualties or damages were reported.
