Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the eve of the Asia and Oceania Cup, which will be held from 23 to 30 April in Tashkent and Samarkand, the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan presented the country’s U-18 team as part of the Bakhor Fest festival. Our team won the title in last year’s competition in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, and this year they will have to defend the title of cup winners.

During the presentation, the audience had the opportunity to personally get acquainted with the composition of the national team and hear a welcoming speech from the head coach of the national team, Abdumadzhid Nasirov. He invited all hockey fans to support our team in the fight for the trophy and witness exciting meetings between the participating teams in the tournament.

A quiz dedicated to the upcoming tournament was also held for the audience, in which 10 lucky winners won unique prizes from the general sponsor of the Uzbekistan Hockey Federation.

The opening match of the Asia-Oceania Cup will take place on 23 April at the Humo Arena, where the national teams of Uzbekistan and Iran will compete.
