Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of education and science between the Extreme and Mountain Tourism Federation of Uzbekistan and the Silk Road International Tourism University and the Uzbekistan Extreme and Mountain Tourism Federation took place.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding represents a step in joint activities in the academic and scientific fields that are of interest in future forms of cooperation in various fields and opens up opportunities for increasing the mobility of students so that they can acquire new knowledge and share experiences.

The Federation of Extreme and Mountain Tourism annually holds such large events as the Chimgan Echo Ecological-Tourism Festival dedicated to the International Environment Day, the Tashkent Sun Motorcycle Festival, the Uzbekistan Cup for Sports Tourism and Orienteering, and the Off-Road Touring Competition " other.

At present, in most countries of the world, extreme and mountain tourism is one of the sectors that brings significant income to the national economy. As a result of the intensive development of tourism and tourism services in recent years, new types of tourism began to take shape in the country.
