Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 13 November, within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road”, an agreement on partnership and further cooperation in the field of tourism was signed between the Association of Private Tourism Organizations of Uzbekistan (APTO) and the Israeli Association travel agencies and consultants (ITTAA).

ITTAA brings together about 400 travel agencies and 4,500 professional Israeli consultants from the field of inbound and outbound tourism, representing their interests in implementing the state policy for the development of the national tourism industry. In addition, the Association implements vocational training and advanced training programs, deals with issues of ensuring consumer protection in the field of tourism services, and also represents its members in the international arena.

Cooperation within the framework of the memorandum will be aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism between Uzbekistan and Israel.
