Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During his visit to Beijing, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shadiev, met with the President of Beijing International Studies University (BISU), Ji Jimbao, to discuss the development of projects for training personnel and joint research in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that Beijing International Studies University, founded in 1964, is one of the top three institutions in China for scientific and practical research in the field of tourism.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to increase the number of exchange programs for students and teachers, as well as scientific research in the field of green and creative economics and the training of Chinese-speaking guides and translators.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, covering all established areas.
