Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation of the international interbank system for transmitting information and making payments SWIFT.
During the meeting, the parties discussed aspects of using the SWIFT system and the readiness of banks to migrate payment categories of SWIFT messages to the ISO 20022 standard.
Representatives of SWIFT informed the Central Bank about the positive status of the level of verification of transactions by banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The parties considered the GPI (Global Payments Innovation) initiative, which provides transparency and speed of payments, as well as the SWIFT Go platform, which is aimed at reducing payment processing time, and the PCS (Payment Controls System) payment control system, which allows banks to improve the protection when making transactions.
