Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the Knowledge Exchange Cooperation Program (KPP), the Central Bank of Uzbekistan held a meeting and a joint research workshop in 2022 with the Central Bank of Korea (CBO) research group of the Korea Institute for International Cooperation (IIDC), This was reported by the press service of the Central Bank.

In the first part of the event, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank of Korea signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of knowledge sharing.

This agreement serves to further strengthen relations with the Central Bank of Korea and the Korea Institute for International Cooperation, conduct future research on topics relevant to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and their effective application in practice.

In the second part of the event, a presentation “Financial Stability in Uzbekistan” was held on the external and internal macro-financial situation, analysis of the financial system, potential risks and their impact, preliminary results of the macro-stress test.
