Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 August 2022, within the framework of industry media schools, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a media conversation with media representatives and bloggers on the topic "A new system in the provision of financial services - advantages and opportunities".
The event provided information about the essence of the new regime - "regulatory sandbox", as well as innovations in the activities of payment systems.
The regulatory sandbox is being created in order to increase competition in the financial market, expand the types of services provided and facilitate their implementation, taking into account the stability of the financial system and consumer protection, as well as improving the legal framework.
It is known that in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to develop the service sector", as well as in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026", the "Strategy for the development of modern financial services and cashless payments" was developed.
