Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Now it is possible to obtain a license for the design, construction, operation and provision of services of telecommunication networks through the "License" information system.

The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications provides the service.

Applications are accepted through:

- information system "License";

- A single portal of interactive public services.

This service is provided for legal entities.

The amount of the fee paid for consideration of the application is 1 size of basic evaluated base (300 thousand soums).

The term for consideration of the application is 10 working days.

Licensing is 25 working days in cases where coordination with the Interdepartmental Coordination Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan is required to improve and increase the efficiency of information activities and data transfer.

License validity period:

- validity period of the license for operation and provision of services of distribution networks (broadcasting) of television and radio programs - 5 years;

- validity period of the license for operation and provision of services of mobile radiotelephone (cellular) communication networks - 15 years;

- licenses for other licensed activities are issued for an unlimited period.
