Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Narpai district of Samarkand region, a drunk 70-year-old driver hit a second-grade student. This was reported by the press service of the regional traffic police department.
The incident occurred when the driver of a Nexia 2 hit a girl who was returning home from school. As a result of the incident, the girl suffered a broken arm and was operated on.
It is noteworthy that law enforcement agencies had previously deprived the man of his driver’s license for driving while intoxicated.
A criminal case has been initiated into this fact and an investigation is underway.
