Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the objectives set out in the "Strategy for the development of the national system of the Republic of Uzbekistan on combating the legalization of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction", approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation of the Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office takes part in the work of the 38th EAG Plenary Week, held in Almaty (Kazakhstan) on 4-9 June 2023.

One of the important issues on the agenda of the event is the discussion and approval of the 1st Report on the progress of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of combating the legalization of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism.

More than 250 representatives from 20 states (Armenia, Belarus, India, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Luxembourg, Mongolia, UAE, Serbia, USA, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Russian Federation, etc.) take part in this event, as well as experts from a number of international organizations (ADB, CIS ATC, EDB, IMF, UN, OSCE).
