Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 28 to 30 September 2022, a delegation of the Art and Culture Development Foundation headed by Executive Director Gayane Umerova took part in the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policy and Sustainable Development MONDIACULT 2022 in Mexico City (Mexico).

This conference is a truly significant event, the main goal of which is the formation of a stronger and more sustainable cultural sector, tied to the prospects of sustainable development, as well as focusing on the promotion of solidarity, peace and security.

Executive Director Gayane Umerova spoke at the panel session "Culture for Sustainable Development" in which she spoke about the current projects of the Foundation related to the preservation of Uzbek city blocks and mahalla culture, about the projects of the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan at the Venice Biennale, as well as plans for new projects in the field sustainable architecture and resources in Karakalpakstan in 2023.
