Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Norkulov met with a delegation led by the executive director of the Asia-Pacific branch of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) Jalil Rashid.
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is a non-profit organization founded by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Its main goal is to help governments and senior political leaders around the world implement strategic reforms to improve the lives of their citizens. The organization provides consulting services from strategy development to its implementation.
At the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and the possibilities of TBI in assisting the government of Uzbekistan in implementing strategic reforms aimed at improving the lives of the country’s citizens.
TBI representatives expressed their willingness to share best international experience and practices in the field of structural reforms.
Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to establish close cooperation and develop specific steps for the implementation of planned projects.
