Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2023, over 134 billion soums in taxes were paid through the Soliq mobile app, with nearly 191.5 billion soums collected in the first seven months of this year.

Users can submit refund applications for overpaid taxes via the app. Since this feature was launched in December 2023, more than 90,000 applications have been received.

This year, a new feedback system was introduced for tax inquiries, available on the Soliq website and app. By 1 August, nearly 2,500 messages were received via the website and around 21,000 through the mobile app.

Keeping Up with the Times

The Tax Committee has introduced an AI-based virtual assistant, DavrOn, which provides 24/7 tax support. This friendly and professional consultant offers essential information and personalized advice on tax matters and is accessible through the Soliq app.

Business at Your Fingertips

Previously, Soliq services were available only to individuals. On August 1, a new version of the app, 2.0.0, was launched, featuring a mobile version of the corporate account under the "Soliq Business" section. This upgrade, timed for August 20 – Entrepreneurs’ Day, allows business owners to monitor detailed tax reporting, liabilities, stability ratings, and issues in real time via their smartphones. 

The new feature includes:
- Real-time tax reporting and liability information
- Stability rating and criteria
- Notifications of issues and recommendations for resolution
- Real-time updates on tax obligations, VAT administration, and “mahalla” system compliance
- Monitoring of electronic invoices, powers of attorney, and contracts
- Separate section for tracking requirements and notifications sent to the personal cabinet
- Option for businesses to observe processes and activities
- Direct contact with assigned tax inspectors with feedback options
- Simplified process for electronic goods transport documents, with no need for driver confirmation

The app also provides new features for individuals, integrating data on passports, ID cards, driver’s licenses, and educational background. Users can now view their employment, earnings, pension contributions, and property details through the app.
