3G service becomes more accessible for MTS Uzbekistan subscribers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Now, subscribers of MTS Uzbekistan can use services in 3G standard automatically, the largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan said on 1 February 2010.

The operator said MTS Uzbekistan introduces new conditions for subscription ad use of 3G High-Speed Internet and Video-call from February 2010. Now subscriber can use 3G service automatically in coverage area without additional settings.

3G High-Speed Internet is rendered on HSDPA technology and allows to use Internet at the speed of 3.6 mbit/sec., but WAP/MMS/GPRS service should be activated.

The operator said subscribers will use Internet at 2G or 3G networks, depending coverage network. It added now MTS Uzbekistan will charge single subscription fee at the size of US$0.02 per day for use of GPRS-MMS+WAP+INTERNET and 3G High-Speed Internet services.

Video-call service is also activated automatically and for free, the company underlined.
