Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the President envisages the construction of hotels, trade and entertainment facilities, recreation areas, reconstruction of historical monuments and much more.
The resolution also stipulates:
— to create in 2023-2024 8 modern hotels for 2,000 beds;
— regulate by December 2023 the activities of the Chorsu and Eski Juva markets and create the necessary conditions for sellers;
— to create, by November 2023, recreation areas on Anhor Buyi Street and the bank of the Aktepa Canal, which flows through the Labzak and Urda massifs;
— to restore until July 2024 the historical gates in the district;
— to build by October 2023 a pedestrian bridge connecting the pedestrian zones along Abdulla Kadyri Street;
- to transfer to private management until July 2023 the boulevard on Abdulla Kadyri Street;
— to create, by November 2023, a tourist street in the Gulbozor mahalla, preserving the ancient historical appearance of Tashkent;
— by 2024, fill the Djangokh, Chukurkuprik and Zakharik collectors with earth, and sell the resulting sites through auctions, create entertainment boulevards, restaurants, trade and service facilities.
