Wildberries to reduce its own trading commission for electronics sellers in Uzbekistan

Wildberries to reduce its own trading commission for electronics sellers in Uzbekistan

23/05/2023 16:35

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The online platform Wildberries expands the offer of affordable equipment and electronics for residents of Uzbekistan and supports local entrepreneurs who sell these products on the marketplace.

From 24 May, Wildberries will reduce its own trading commission from 2% for local entrepreneurs who sell household appliances and electronics on the online platform: robotic vacuum cleaners, computers, game consoles, kitchen appliances - more than 500 items in total. So, in certain categories, for example, when selling laptops and smartphones, the minimum commission will be from 3%, regardless of the sales model.

This measure will allow entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan to reduce their costs of doing online business on the marketplace. As a result, they will be able to expand the range of appliances and electronics for residents of the country at affordable prices, in the segment where there is currently the largest shortage of offers for buyers. Ultimately, this will allow sellers to increase customer loyalty and increase their income.
