New promising areas of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and India are being studied

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with the President of the Indian Trade and Economic Organization Asif Iqbal was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi.
Founded in 2013, the organization brings together over 1200 small and medium-sized businesses and operates in four major Indian states - Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting discussed issues of support for Uzbek-Indian small business and private entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Indian Trade and Economic Organization, in particular the development of cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals, textiles, footwear, agriculture, education and tourism.
Asif Ikbol highly appreciated the reforms carried out in our country for the development of small business and private entrepreneurship, the favorable conditions created for foreign investors. He also expressed his intention to send a delegation of the Indian Trade and Economic Organization to Uzbekistan in the near future to get acquainted with the trade and economic opportunities of Uzbekistan.
