A Turkish delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs is in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 March, a Turkish delegation headed by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is in Bukhara and gets acquainted with the sights of the ancient city, the Dunyo news agency reported.
The day before, the Turkish Foreign Minister, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and other officials, visited Khorezme, where he visited Khiva, recognized in 2020 as the cultural capital of the Turkic world.
On 6 March, the Turkish delegation arrived in Bukhara.
Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is expected to visit Samarkand today and take part in the official opening ceremony of the Turkish Consulate General.
During a visit to Uzbekistan on 6-9 March, the Turkish delegation will take part in the second meeting of the Joint Strategy Planning Group chaired by the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The program of the visit also provides for holding meetings and negotiations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministries and departments in Tashkent.
