The journalists receive information on the production of smart meters
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 16 October, a press tour for journalists and bloggers was held at Tekhnopark, organized by the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent and dedicated to acquaintance with the production of electronic gas meters. Their production is deployed in the former TAPOiCh workshops, rebuilt and equipped with the equipment of the Italian companies Petro Fiorentini, Euro Impiantini and the German Motan.
Each of us has meters in our home - how is their creation going on? The birth of a gas meter begins with the manufacture of a case. It is made by stamping from a strip of sheet metal, in turn made of a special alloy with anti-spark properties. The stamp is adjusted for the production of one of the models, then, if necessary, it is quickly reconstructed for the production of another model. The supply of the metal strip, the actuation of the stamp and the issuance of finished cases - everything is automated, the operator only monitors the process using a monitor displaying the process parameters. Next, the robot places the bodies in rows on the grate and moves them to the painting area on a special conveyor. The coating is particularly resistant to damage, its quality is controlled in a separate laboratory.
Further along the conveyor, the housings are transferred to the section where the fittings for the supply and removal of gas are glued. Then there is a section in which a mechanism with a membrane and a crank mechanism is inserted into the body, which turns the vibrations of the membrane into rotation. This rotation is recorded by an optical transducer and then converted into a gas flow rate signal.
Then the meters are checked for leaks by immersion in water and supplying compressed air, if air passes through, the meter is rejected. According to Umid Saidov, the head of Tekhnopark LLC department for the production of meters, the defect is no more than 0.1%.
Further, the meters are charged in a special room with constant temperature and humidity. In the next section, electronics are installed - a board with a processor and memory, a SIM card slot, batteries and a locking valve. Each stage of the technological process is controlled.
In a separate zone, stickers with a serial number and meter characteristics are printed, one is glued to the meter, the second to the box after packaging. In a special laboratory, selectively several pieces from each batch are checked for dozens of parameters - the strength of the body and paint, work with different pressures at the inlet fitting, the operation of the locking valve, signal transmission from the SIM card, opening the locking valve and much more.
The journalists were shown a service center, a call center with 12 operators and a showroom with Tekhnopark products. They also showed a remote control with monitors that summarizes all information about production. Also, the monitor reflects the progress of production - the counter number, at what stage it is, which of the workers is doing the next operation with it, and so on.
Umid Saidov spoke in detail about the work of the counter. Great attention is paid to compliance with product safety. For example, gas can be supplied to the inlet at a pressure of up to 7 bar, while gas is supplied to household appliances at a pressure of 0.02 bar, that is, the meter acts as a reducer. If the outlet pressure drops sharply, similar to a leak, the inlet valve will automatically close. Before switching on again, make sure there is no gas leak. Also, the inlet valve closes remotely in case of non-payment for gas use. To re-enable the gas supply after payment, you must enter the code sent by SMS from "Khududgaztaminot".
It was especially emphasized that the produced meters have an accuracy class of 1 - which corresponds to European standards for gas metering devices, and the production itself is organized according to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 9 January 2020 No. PP-4563 "On measures to implement the investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020— 2022 ", and Tekhnopark itself was created as part of the implementation of the tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 1, 2019 No. PP-4302" On measures to further develop industrial cooperation and expand the production of products in demand. "
